Whenever we have a big event, I like to “GLAMUP .” It’s my excuse to do a little “treatin’ my self,” but it also makes me feel my best self when we have an event where I’ll be meeting new people or aka not “mommin’ in my sweatpants.” SO..when Aaron had his graduation dinner a few weeks ago, I went and got my nails done and paid a visit to my favorite waxing salon near Durham, Waxing The City. I love the wax they use there because in my opinion, it is the least painful wax I’ve had used on my body and the estheticians really know what their doing which is so important (especially if you’re getting a bikini wax or similar service). The first time I ever got a bikini wax, I used someone who did not know what they were doing and let’s just say it was WAY less than wonderful. YIKES.
Like any service, I always recommend making an appointment, but on the particular day I went for my eyebrows, I popped in for my appointment time and had no trouble being seen straight away ( I waited less than ten minutes). Honestly, I started waxing my eyebrows years ago and I never let anyone touch them but certified professionals. A good brow shape is essential to your face and I love how Waxing The City does my brows!
