As many of you know, we did not find out the gender of P when I was pregnant, so when I had a girl, a lot of people told Aaron to watch out since I’d be shopping for her a ton. 🙂 That’s kind of true, but to be honest, I never have much luck in stores for her. Do you think that’s the same with your little ones? I always find that everything is picked over and limited in stock/variety. I do most of her shopping online, but I always hate not being able to touch and feel what I’m buying before buying it (which means lots of returns to the mall I was supposed to be avoiding <le sigh>). That’s why I’m super pumped about teaming up with KIDBOX today to share my Kidbox Review about their seasonal box service. I know, I know, sometimes boxes of these nature are a “miss” but with hassle free return shipping, etc. it’s not a big deal and after our first box, I was so surprised by the quality and adorableness of the items they sent for Penelope. Here are a few reasons why I love it:
Kidbox Review:
- Signing up is easy because you just head to their website and take a style quiz. Since Penelope is too young, I obviously took her quiz from my point of view. KIDBOX comes in sizes 2-14 for Boys & Girls, and contains 6-7 styles but also comes in baby boxes and come in sizes 0-24 months and contain 5-6 items and 1-2 non-apparel items.
- Affordability: Children’s boxes are $98 and baby boxes $68. That comes to about $11-$14 dollars an item. I like that!
- It’s not subscription. With 5 seasonal boxes a year, pick when you want a box to be delivered (and things are name brand, so you know them).
- Shipping is always on them and they offer hassle free exchanges.
- Keep what you want! Only pay for what you and your little love, but I promise, the brands are well known and the quality is wonderful (in our experience). You get 7 days to decide, so you’re not rushed like in the mall.
- THEIR MISSION. You guys, this is why I actually am like, “okay, sign me up!” For every box KIDBOXÂ that sells, they donate clothing to children in need. That is a company I can support 100%. And if you keep the box, YOU pick where the money goes for helping children!
Obviously, Poppy was a big fan of her little pink sneakers, and how adorable are they!?! But I was more a fan of the little bloomer and top set, ADORABLE. The best part for me was being able to try things on her (girlfriend has some big thighs which make pants a little challenging right now) and also being able to touch the materials of the pieces. Then, what we didn’t like we just shipped back, easy!
This would also make a great gift for a niece/nephew since you can give a gift card towards a box (the holidays are coming up after all—-crazy). You can get $15 off your first box by using THIS link and the code AmyCpAndBp.
Happy shopping friends and happy Monday. I’m off for that second cup of the good stuff!
