Floral Maxi Skirt:
Happy Tuesday sweet friends, how did your week start out? It was a RAINY day yesterday and it looks like the majority of the week will be that way. I am always hit or miss on rainy days, I either lay low (and by low I mean lazy), or I get a ton of sh*t done. You?
I picked this floral maxi skirt up the other day (currently so comfortable and on sale for 40% off). I almost didn’t grab it because I thought “skirts are hard in the fall.” But then I thought about what a dumb thought that was because skirts are SO easy in the fall it’s silly. Tie up a flannel and/or chambray and add a bootie, or even more comfortable, a sneaker. Voila. Or, better yet, wear a big oversized sweater over the maxi and create the most cozy and comfortable look ever. See what I mean? Why did I think for a hot second this floral maxi skirt would present a problem? Anyway, it’s a great skirt (and lined), so if you’re in the market for a great maxi that transitions to fall well, scoop it up for yourself. If you think about it, most items can be worn into another season with a little creative thinking (aka layers).
I’m thinking it’s probably time to invest in a new pair of heels as these are looking quite sad, but you guys, these are my favorites because they are easy to walk in and go with anything. Funny story about these shoes, I’ve had them for a LONG time and I actually lost the straps to them at a Bachelorette party. So instead of buying a completely new pair of shoes, I bought a cheap pair in the same color and just used the straps from those. So these straps are not the originals. Creative thinking friends. Let’s hope this creative thinking can take me into Tuesday and GSD.
