Yin-Yang Madewell Sweater (on sale) / Shoes (also on sale) / Jeans / Sunglasses
Did your 90s heart skip a beat when you saw this yin-yang Madewell sweater because you bet your bum that mine did. I used to doodle yin-yangs all over note books, pencil pouches, book bags, etc. That with those little “S” things and heart ribbons…those were the good ole’ days . Oh, and MASH… y’all, do you remember MASH? I have the sudden urge to play right this moment, although now I don’t think the same excitement would come considering I know I’m married, most definitely do not like in a mansion (just an “H” for those who remember…” 🙂
Remember when bell bottoms came back in a few years ago and everyone that was born in the 70s was in awe? That’s how I honestly feel now. It makes me not want to get rid of ANYTHING because I’m finding that what my mom said once (and every other person in her generation) that “everything old comes back.” If I keep purging my closet but then a few years from now it’s popular again, what’s the point? A few weeks when I was back at my parent’s house for the evening me niece has a scrunchy. Doesn’t it make you wonder what will circle back next? I love envisioning what Penelope will be wearing in high school. Who knows, maybe these!
Madewell Sweater:
I feel a little guilty because I’ve been cheating on my favorite sneakers with these bad boys, but I absolutely love the gold detailing! Plus, they are SO comfortable and obviously are 100% practical in my life since Poppy is on the move and crawling everywhere. It’s a total game changer you guys. I’m exhausted, I can only imagine what it will be like once she starts walking.
Okay, well I’m off to finish up a few house projects I started this week. Here’s to drinking your coffee while it’s still warm because in my house that’s a luxury!
