Baby’s First Halloween:
I realized the other day that besides an occasional “this is a product we’re loving” post, I don’t share too much of daily life with Penelope. White Elm snapped these Baby’s First Halloween photos for me the other day when we were shooting content and it has me thinking about how QUICKLY the past year has flown by. Poppy is now 10 months old which means I’m starting to brainstorm for her 1st birthday (what?!). She is honestly the most happy and smiley little girl, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say the crawling/climbing phase was not a nightmare. She is into EVERYTHING.
I know babies can’t technically Trick-or-Treat, but I can’t resist a cute little thing in a costume, so we picked this one out for her (now would be a great time to snatch one at an affordable price for next year!) It actually was perfect because it’s super warm, so when we strolled her around the hood last Saturday (our neighborhood does Trick-or-Treat on the weekend), she kept warm despite the drizzle and cold. I also stopped up this adorable dress from here (where I get a ton of her smocked pieces for cheap) and I already see a ton of holiday ones are gone! However, they restock often, so if you’re sad like me, don’t worry!
Minus my double (triple?) chin, these photos make me so happy because they are the epitome of our girl…happy. I just made my content calendar for November and stuck a few motherhood/Poppy update posts, etc. on our life, what’s working for us (or did early on). So, if there is anything you’re particularly curious about, let me know, I’ll add it in.
I hope if your little ones are trick-or-treating tonight they have so much fun. Thanks always for reading and Happy Halloween!
