Plaid Blazer Gap / Boots / Blouse / Sunglasses / Bag (similar)
When I saw this plaid blazer, I knew it would be worn all season and that I had to have it. I have always been a sucker for a boyfriend blazer (throwback here), or any type of blazer really (here, here, here), but I do have to admit, I find them a little constricting. Whenever I worked in an office setting, I would wear a blazer inside and then when at my desk immediately hang it on the back of my chair. I’m the same way with jewelry…I just can’t work when I’m not comfortable. That’s why I love a great boyfriend plaid blazer, they are a little more roomy and always just feel slightly more comfortable. Plus, I just honestly think they are great investment pieces that work with anything from a printed blouse, to a simple t-shirt. It doesn’t hurt that this one is currently 50% off and this shirt is as well (just sayin’).
Plaid Blazer:
P and I have officially caught winter colds (ugh, so early in the season), so we’ve been laying low in the playroom. Her first birthday party is this Saturday and I honestly think I’ve bit off a little more than I can chew this time around, so here is hoping (praying) that I can get everything done, the house cleaned, and keep my sanity before then. It’s so funny to me what a big deal the 1st birthday is, because she’ll never even remember! And, that my friends, is why we have cameras to capture such memories! haha If you’re a mom (or dad), did you go big or go home for your child’s first birthday? I feel like 90% of us do, and the other 10% just are more intelligent! 🙂
Now, here’s to warming up my coffee since it’s been sitting on the Keurig for 30+ minutes. Maybe I can get it down while P is still sleeping.
Have a great one friends. May your Tuesday be short (but mine long so I can accomplish things!).
