14 Day Challenge with Pantene:
Hiya friends! I’m coming at ya a little later tonight because I wanted to jump on and share my results from the Pantene 14 Day Challenge with my hair. For those of you who have been following my blog for a while, you know I don’t wash my hair every day, but I did wash about every 2-3 days for this 14 day challenge because I genuinely wanted to see if I could tell a difference.
I actually have been a fan of Pantene for SO long. My mom used to buy it when I was in high school and now when I’m buying shampoo it’s typically what I reach for. But since I’d never used the Pantene Repair & Protect Collection which is perfect for hair like mine that’s color treated and heat damaged (thank you curling wand), I wanted to see what kind of results I would get.
I have to admit, after about 5-6 washes, my hair does feel SUPER smooth and silky (which is the goal right ladies?). Typically, my day 2 hair gets a little greasy/more coarse, but for the last two weeks, my day 2 hair felt freshly washed (it kept slipping out of my top-knot)! People always ask me what kind of shampoo, conditioner and other hair products I use and honestly, I don’t think you have to break the bank to get good hair care (or makeup, etc.), it just takes some time finding what works for you! Unfortunately, it’s kind of like finding a prince by kissing frogs. You might have to try a bunch that don’t work for you (the frog) before finding your prince. Am I cheesy or what?! Thankfully, my frog kissing days are over, haha.
I don’t know about you, but this seems like the perfect time to get your booty to the store and get that holiday hair ready – check out Walmart for a great offer on the Repair & Protect Collection here. Let’s be honest, we’re over indulging this time of year, so if my pants can’t fit fabulously, at least I can make sure my makeup looks fierce and my hair looks bomb.com. Am I right ladies?
Now I’m off to hang Christmas lights outside, wish me luck! Why is Ohio so cold! #takemebacktoNC
