You know what is a saving grace? Wish lists. Before having Penelope, I never knew what toys were wanted/needed for little ones, but luckily my sister-in-law creates online wishlists for her kids which makes shopping a cinch. Now, I feel slightly more equipped to shop for little ones, but I always love seeing gift guides for certain ages. I’ll be sharing a toddler gift guide later this week, but today is my top baby gifts: 0-24 month wish list (and everything is from JCPenney and amazingly priced!!)! I hope if you have a little one to shop for this helps! Most of these items Penelope already has and loves, so without further adieu…
Top Baby Gifts: 0-24 Month Gift Guide
- Books: Any type of book because they are perfect for naps, learning and bedtime and will be kept for years for these events. Penelope has so many books and I just say “keep ’em” coming. We recently got a personalized one from a friend and it’s just so sweet.
- Little People Anything: It seems like these Little People are popular among the little ones. I love that they are set in “real life” activities (firefighters, houses, etc.) and I just think they are cute and can actually grow with them. Plus, you can create a whole little people world!
- Tunnels. I know you need space to have one of these, but some collapse which makes it easy to bring in and out. Penelope just got one for her birthday and is in it ALL the time! She loves it and they are super affordable!
- Stuffed Animals: I know, I know..by the time they are 3 years, they will have 205,865, but right now, Penelope loves hers…all of them. They are comforting, soft and adorable to see those little fingers wrap around. As long as they make my girl happy, I’m happy.
- Clothes: When all else fails, 0-24 month little ones grow TOO FAST which means clothing is always needed. If it’s adorably cute, even better. Can we look at this cute suit? P just got it from JCP and I’m OBSESSED.
- Practical Baby Shoes: I’ve bought P so many pairs of shoes and I love ones that she can actually wear! SO many don’t work for infant feet, but anything with laces or elastic seems to be a winner. And, in the winter, shoes are a necessity (because if your child isn’t wearing them, someone will surely give you an evil eye!).
- Zip pajamas! Okay, I know this may be better for 12 months and younger, but P wears fresh jammies every night and when you’re still changing diapers, zippers are a lifesaver. I’ll always take some cute ones and these from JCP are under $8. Yes, please.
- Anything Musical: Pops loves anything musical, I think because of the noise. LOL Obviously singing items are a huge hut, but if she can bang on something and create the noise herself, such a win. Sorry parents. Also, I just think anything by Melissa and Doug is darling and JCP has a great selection.
- Necessities: Bath robes, bath towels, lotion, wash, etc. Maybe they aren’t the most exciting gifts under the sun, but mom and dad will certainly appreciate them since they don’t have to buy them theirselves! This robe from JCP is darling and under $15.
- Learning and Development Toys: Along with books, puzzles and shape “fitters”are great ideas for little ones to build cognitive skills and motor skills. I always appreciate these toys.
Of course, if you can combine two of the above, like this set from JCP, I say go for it. Plus, who doesn’t love a castle?
I hope this top baby gifts gift guide helps if you have little ones in your life this Holiday season. Soon I’ll have my toddler gift guide up!
