I know, I know. “Amy, you know Christmas was last week…”
Yes. BUT. I decided to take a little time off from social/blogging the last week. It was unplanned but with P’s first Christmas, my in-laws in town and Aaron on nights, it just kind of happened and I’m okay about it! However, since I’d already photographed our house, and I’m in denial about the holidays almost being over, I figured, why not share them! Maybe they aren’t going to help you with this year’s decor, but add it to your Pinterest board and use it for next! Or, you can just be sad like me that you have to un-decorate in the next few days….whahhhh!
This was our first Christmas in our new house and I think it will be my favorite time of year in our home, especially now that we have Poppy. We had three trees this year, two flocked trees from here and then a real tree in the playroom where Santa visited. It’s going to be a lot to take down! UGH. Until then, here is what our home looked like!
All of our greenery this year was from P’s first birthday that I just reused (from Fifty Flowers). They are amazing to work with if you’re planning a big event! I mean, that garland on the stairs and fireplace is just GORGEOUS.
Happy New Year my friends, I can’t wait to start 2019 off with you. As always, thank you so much for reading and making this the best job ever. I am SO thankful for each of you.
