7 Must Haves for The Ultimate Girls Night In

This weekend I’m super excited because my girlfriends and I are getting together to celebrate one of the girl’s b-days. This time of year is ALWAYS hectic, so instead of going out for a night on the town, we opted to stay in, drink wine, play a fun game and watch a Christmas/Holiday movie. I mean, that sounds like heaven, right? Plus, I’m super pumped to play my new, That’s What She Said Game which I’ve been saving for the perfect girl’s night. It’s a hilarious party game of twisted innuendos and I just know it will bring a lot of side splitting laughter!!

I don’t know about you, but a girl’s night in is exactly what I need right now with the crazy start of December we’ve had. Here are my must haves for the perfect girls night in:

7 Must Haves for The Ultimate Girls Night In:

1. Literally text says, wear sweats (or cute jammies). Who wants to be comfy on the couch in jeans (no thank you).
2. Wine (and lots of it).
3. Heavy apps. I always prefer these over takeout, so we can nibble as the night goes on. Just make sure something sweet is also in there! Cheese, fruit, and meats are always a favorite along with some frozen type selections from somewhere like Trader Joes (because, really, can TJ’s do wrong?).
4. The perfect movie that you’ve all seen so no one has to “watch,” but is enjoyable enough that you still chat about scenes as the evening goes on. And so that you’re not annoying someone who is actually trying to watch the movie!
5. Lots of cozy blankets and pillows!!
6. A fun game. That’s What She Said game is perfect for a girls night in. This outrageous party in a box has players matching hilarious red setup cards to the funniest white phrase cards. The best games to play with your girlfriends are the ones that make you belly laugh and maybe even pee your pants!! Bonus: you might learn a few of your friend’s dirty secrets!
7. You besties! DUH!
