Joggers / Shoes / Blouse / Earrings / Bag (similar)
My name is Amy Loochtan and I have a velvet obsession. I don’t know what it is, but it’s just so cozy this time of year and I’m drawn to it. I am also drawn to anything that is comfortable, so these velvet joggers went into my cart right after I saw them. I have to admit, I should probably get them tailored to be slightly shorter, but I just rolled them until I have time #shortgirlproblems. This is actually the outfit I wore to Penelope’s first birthday party, but it’s such a great casual holiday look too, so I wanted to recreate it for some blog photos.
Do you usually get dressed up for the holidays? I know some people are more casual (totally fine), but when I was growing up, my mom always made sure we were pretty dressed up on Christmas. I bought this dress for Penelope and even though I’m an adult now, I still get more dressed up than I would for a day with family and friends. I mean, I’m a blogger and any reason to get a little more dressed up is an obviously choice! 🙂
Holiday Ready Velvet Joggers:
I am in disbelief that Christmas is in a few days and Penelope’s first birthday is Friday, I mean, what?!? Ugh, the years fly by friends and it makes you wonder what we all worry so much for. I’ve been working on my New Year’s resolutions and maybe, just maybe, this is the year I actually keep them. Think I can do it? Do you make them?
Anyway, I need to finish wrapping and about 1000000 other things, so I am off to fill that coffee cup up!
