Y’all know I absolutely love eucalyptus. I am a huge lover of flowers and greenery and honestly, I 100% think if they bring you joy then they’re worth it. But it’s not just about putting some flowers/greenery in a vase and calling it a day, we use greenery all throughout our home. Today, I thought it might be helpful to show you how to useeucalyptus leaves and five different ways to put it to use in your home this spring.
How to Use Eucalyptus Leaves:
Dry it out and use it as a vase filler. Silver dollar eucalyptus, baby eucalyptus and seeded eucalyptus are among my favorites of the variety (love this pack from Fifty Flowers! Perfect for DIY’s like this!). I will say if you use dry seeded, the seeds will fall easily, so I love baby and silver dollar dried and stuck in a vase. Even though they shrivel slightly, they are still so pretty. We have a large ginger jar filled on our mantle.
Use it on a table as part of a centerpiece. I love different varieties sprinkled on a table top to be used as part of the centerpiece. You can also buy Eucalyptus garland, or even make your own! It always classes up a table in my opinion and every-time I do it, I get so many compliments!
Use it the old fashion way and enhance your bouquets. Greenery makes all the difference in gorgeous floral arrangements. I just think it makes it so gorgeous and I love that typically it lasts for at least two weeks if you keep it well watered.
Use the leaves as a place-card. Using a small sprig of Silverdollar (and use the rest elsewhere), you can create adorable place-cards with a metallic marker.
Use it solely in a vase (no flowers). Baby Eucalyptus for the win. It’s so pretty, dried lovely and I love how the different heights of the sprigs make the perfect vase filler.
Boil it for aroma. A woman at the grocery store actually told me about this. She said once she’s done using hers, she boils it and it creates the best aroma throughout her house. I LOVE the smell!
Again, if you need any greenery needs (or flowers), Fifty Flowers is the place to find them. I have worked with them multiple times and everything I’ve ever ordered has been amazing. Plus, I love the variety.
Now, go greenery up your home and pour that coffee!
