Mirrored Nightstands:
I’m totally bias, but look at our sweet pooches in this pic, both staring out the window. The not so sweet, them barking every five seconds. GRRR.
Anywho! I’m excited though to show y’all a peek into our bedroom today! If you’ve seen my instastories, our bedroom is super unique. Our space actually used to be a small room on the ground floor (a nursery perhaps) and then previous owners converted attic space into a master bedroom and bath which means our bedroom has three stairs in it. On the lower level, we have a chair, small closet (Aaron’s) and my dresser along with hallway door, then you go up the stairs and find out bathroom door, kind sized bed, two nightstands and Aaron’s dresser. When we first moved in, we had the nightstands below, and they never really worked with our dark walls. We have these dressers, so I never really loved how these worked with the room. First of all, our rooms are super dark, so I hated seeing the cords from the lamps since the outlet is so far, but secondly, they just didn’t feel “right.” Enter these mirrored nightstands from Safavieh. They make such a difference and make the room feel so much more “complete.”

We have a lot of pieces from Safavieh and honestly, I’ve always been super pleased with their quality! I also LOVE that there are drawers because now not only does the nightstand hide the cords, but also I can store things in there!! DOUBLE WIN. You guys, I need storage, I had a huge closet in Durham to not sooo much haha.
Honestly, I know people shy away from mirrored nightstands because they feel like they get “dirty” but we’ve had these and little hands for about two months now and they are SO much better than our previous ones (which we are now using in guest bedroom).
It’s funny how two small pieces can change a space, so never underestimate friends.
Happy Friday and get’cha some coffee!

I love these nightstands! And I love that your master bedroom is unique. I think the 3 steps are so cool!
You are by far my favorite blog to read. You cover real life – from house stuff, to kid stuff, to a little bit of fashion. You seem so genuine. I know having a toddler, moving across the country, and a husband who works tons is stressful – but I love weeks when you have time to post more! 🙂
