Black and White Plaid Blazer:
Don’t worry friends, it’s not snowing again in Ohio (although, I wouldn’t put it past her). I was actually up last night editing photos from a friends maternity session and remembered these photos I took towards the beginning of March and since it’s seems plaid blazers aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, I thought I’d still share them despite the snow being on the ground. Yesterday in Ohio it actually felt like it was cold enough to snow (40 degrees) which was much colder from the 60-70 degree temps we had this past weekend. I also try to never forget that when growing up, we often had to wear pants and jackets over our Easter dresses because of frigid temperatures while egg hunting. Ohio <shakes head>.
I actually bought this black and white plaid blazer awhile ago, but it’s still available in many sizes (for those sizes not available, I’m linking more below). It would be so cute over some floral for spring too (not even kidding, I wore it over a floral romper back in October for a friend’s wedding). The thing I like particularly about this one is that it has a slight stretch in it which avoids making you feel constrained the way blazers often do. I hate feeling like Tommy Boys “Fat Guy in a Little Coat,” so I love a great comfy blazer in lieu of a tight one. I also touched on this sweater before and how great it would be for some spring layers. If you like your sweaters a little longer like I do, then this one is perfect for you!
And with that, I’m going to slurp down the rest of this cold coffee (are you with me mommas) and head to the gym. I have been SLACKING lately and feeling legit gross in this body (more on that later), so it’s time to get serious friends.
I hope your day is wonderful and your coffee is hot!
