Happy Monday y’all, how was everyone’s weekend? Ours was busy, busy, busy. Friday night we had a fundraising event which was fun and then Saturday we had a “Spring Fling” neighborhood event followed by watching the CBJ hockey game. Then, big news y’all, we started watching Game of Thrones on Sunday evening. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing, lol, but I am interested to learn about what all the hype is about. Do you watch?
In other news, if you saw this instagram post, you know I’ve been living in all of my sneakers lately. I think most of it has to do with the fact that Penelope is all over the place and so if I’m in shoes I can actually move in, we all survive the days better. In all honesty though, I love wearing sneakers not just for chasing 16 month olds, but for pairing with workout clothes, jeans and tees and even spring dresses.
We have another busy week ahead because we’re having a neighborhood party at our home Saturday evening, and you know #imocd and must have everything right. It’s a big weekend for parties considering it’s Cinco de Mayo and Derby Day! Do you have plans for either? I’ve been seeing a lot of Derby de Mayo decor, but our party is strictly Derby (and then my nephews birthday is Sunday).
So, time to GSD, but y’all know what comes first…coffee.
