Collared Romper
I am currently writing this from an airplane above the ocean, I love technology. We landed back in Columbus last night and while I’m always SO sad to have a vacation come and go, I was ready to get back because of Penelope. France was absolutely amazing of course, but I’ve never left P for so long and I definitely missed the little beast. I plan to share a Paris and Nice travel guide next week sharing more about our trip, what we loved/hated, etc. but for now, it’s snuggling up on the couch with our sweet girl…and laundry, lots of it.
I wore this cute little collared romper about a week before our trip and at first I wasn’t so sure about it, but then decided it’s perfect for summertime. It’s slightly preppy, but great for layering and moving. I’m wearing a size six and while it’s slightly tight in the bust/button region, it fits perfectly everywhere else and I love how the shorts area isn’t super tight on the thighs. Plus, pinstripe is timeless. ๐
We actually leave again on Thursday to head to a wedding in Colorado, but this time Pops is coming. It’s her first trip on an airplane, so if you have any tips for keeping little ones occupied, please send them my way! It’s an early flight (7AM) and with the time change, elevation, etc. it might make for a challenging trip! haha
But until then, coffee. I definitely missed it since we mostly drank espresso on the trip. I need one as large as it can get!

I would definitely bring a pacifier (or something to suck on) or a sippy cup for altitude changes so her ears don’t hurt. We packed a small set of magna-tiles (Discovery Kids 24 Piece Best Magnetic Tiles Set – it looks like a hassle, but they pack up well) and the Melissa & Doug coloring books (Amazon: Melissa & Doug On The Go Water Wow! Activity Pad). They’re pretty much mess free and can be used multiple times after they dry out. From one mom to another though – well wishes for a napping toddler on the plane ๐
