Happy Tuesday friends, is everyone gearing up for the 4th? Anyone have some fun plans? We’re planning on wearing my favorite blue striped paperbag pants and staying within our neighborhood. Which makes it much easier for us since Penelope goes to bed relatively early. I am always thankful for our neighborhood and all of the events we have.  It definitely saves on babysitting costs! 🙂 I just put some flags into the flower beds and it made me happy for the upcoming holiday; because it’s one of my favorites.  Mostly because it kind of signifies summer. Wouldn’t you agree?

My Thoughts on Striped Paperbag Pants

I’ve had these striped paperbag pants for about two months now and I have to admit, I love them.  But, they are almost sold out, so if you want a pair for yourself, you have to get yours soon! Luckily, there are still a lot of sizes available in tan.

Overall, I think a high-waist pant with a tucked in shirt is one of my favorite looks. It’s timeless and classic, just like a great outfit should be.  I know that some people may think high-waist pants are unflattering, but to be honest, I think they can help elongate the leg (especially on shorties like me!).
