This post is sponsored by Gerber, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I literally looked at Penelope the other day and thought to myself, “who is this little girl in front of me?” Can you relate? I know I posted about my baby diaper bag a while ago but now that P’s almost two, what I carry for her has drastically changed. So I thought I’d update y’all what are now my toddler diaper bag essentials these days.
My Toddler Diaper Bag Essentials
I don’t carry my “diaper” bag anymore but rather my favorite totebag with the perfect insert for organization. Below are my go-to’s now before we leave the house.
- First and foremost: SNACKS. These NEW Gerber® Popped Crisps are so good that Aaron said the other day, “why do these have to be for toddlers? I’d eat them.” P also loves them and I love that I know they are healthy and will entertain her with their delicious crunch factor. I pick them up at Target (like most things, obviously).
- Snack cup: Okay, I know I said P loves carrying around the Gerber Popped Crisps, but sometimes she spills when she’s being cray, so I always have a snack cup in case we need to contain the snacks. I love these because they have 4 g of whole grain goodness per serving, 2 g of plant-based protein per serving, no artificial colors or flavors, no preservatives, and they are USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified.
- Diaper and Wipes: Self-explanatory but now as a toddler mom, I don’t need 10 diapers—only 1-2. Wipes are also great for cleanup.
- Entertainment: While P really loves Gerber Popped Crisps in Lentil flavor (I love that as a mom and the Pea flavor is so good, too), she needs entertainment. We usually have a stuffie, book (this one sings and she’s obsessed), and maybe some stickers or something. I’ve also found that Target’s dollar spot is amazing for small little time suckers, so mom and dad can enjoy their food or drinks when out.
- P’s glasses case: She still throws them off from time to time. I like having a safe place for them to stay until we put them back on.
- Mom Essentials: Hand sanitizer, a pouch for my goodies like lipgloss, receipts from Target, my phone.
- Sippy Cup for when someone gets thirsty after having said Gerber Popped Crisps.
Honestly, it seems like a lot—but it’s SO much less than when P was a baby. Now I just feel like I carry most of it for my own sanity. Especially because “hungry, snack, wa-wa” are constant words in our home.
I’d love to know what y’all carry that I’m missing! And who am I kidding? There is usually an empty coffee cup in there, too!
Which reminds me, coffee time! Find these in the baby aisle at Target, there’s also a Target Circle offer valid on these Popped Crisps live right now where you can save starting on 10/1. You can thank me later!!
Now, coffee. Busy week ahead.
