I know most of you are probably trying to wrap up your Christmas gift shopping since less than 10 days remain until the holiday. I typically have a pretty easy gig with getting items for the adults on my list, but I struggle with the kiddos. With Penelope’s birthday and Christmas within four days of one another, I even struggle with what to get her! Luckily, lots of sites make it SO easy to group/search by age group and there are SO many gender neutral gifts for kids out there!
Gender Neutral Gifts for Kids
0-24 months: For this age group, I love sticking to interactive toys like light up, talking, etc. basically, anything that makes noise. 🙂 I also am always a fan of plush items for the little ones and bath toys since both get so gross and have to be thrown out regularly.
2-4 Years: Obviously, P is just entering this age group and it’s so fun. Anything that is something I do (vacuum, clean, sweep, etc.) P love imitating. She loves building, riding her cousins roller coaster (or anything that “rides” for that matter).
5-7: My nephew is really into board games now, so we always go that route. Kids are also so inquisitive this age, that science experiments or “how-tos” are really fun for them.
8-10: How are they not so little anymore? Think more science, but the more fun/messy stuff, puzzles, harder board games, etc.
Honestly, I am totally guilty of getting the same thing for kids if they are in the same age group. That’s why I’m such a fan of gender neutral gifts because they are so much easier! All of the above can be found at JCPenney and I love that it’s a one stop shop!
You can head to my instastories to see some of the things we got Penelope!
I’d love to know what gender neutral gifts for kids you love. So let me know in a comment below!
Now, coffee. Is it time for wine yet?
