Favorite Amazon Home Decor Finds

Hiya friends. Today, I wanted to take a little break from my life (are you so thankful) and chat about some Amazon home essentials I’m currently loving. I have many of these pieces in our home, and I think people often forget that Amazon is a great place to get home decor. And, since they recently started allowing returns at Kohls, I find it so much easier to shop/return as needed. However, I promise you that you wont need to return these items because they are staples for any home.

Amazon Home Essentials

Artificial Blooms: I have been finding the prettiest faux flowers/greenery on amazon lately. I had these in our last home and currently have these gorgeous blossoms on our kitchenette table and I just think they looks fabulous placed in an oversized jar. If you don’t have a green thumb (like me), no worries, just incorporate some faux into your mix!

Kitchen Knick Knacks and Necessities: I love displaying things in the kitchen, so this marble cutting/cheese board fits right in.

Lamps, Trays and Coffee Table Books: so much variety and again, great price points. I adore the lamps I recently picked up for half the price of other stores for our foyer tables.

Light Fixtures: SUCH.GREAT.PRICE.POINTS. I’m not being dramatic when I say I want to replace every.single fixture in our home. They just don’t vibe well with our decor. Amazon has been saving my butt for some great options at great price points. Since I’m saving money in bedrooms and bathrooms, I can splurge on some great fixtures for main areas of the house. We just added this funky one to Aaron’s office and I love the vibe it creates!

Rugs: Did you know rugs are on Amazon? Me either until recently. Can we talk about this one? It’s been sitting in my cart for our Master Bedroom and I’m about to pull the trigger.

Furniture: Am I going to buy my bed and couch off Amazon? Probably not, but hey you never know! I leave it all up to the reviewers. These chairs had a great price point, great reviews and numerous other colors. We have been SO happy with them and they look amazing.

Curtains and Rods: Okay, we don’t have any Amazon curtains, but ALL of our rods are from there thanks to the wide variety. We had so many curtain panels from the last house, we didn’t need many here, but I would definitely not count Amazon out if you’re looking for great panels!

Real plants and planters: Okay, I love faux plants, as mentioned above, but did you know Amazon also sells real plants? I’ve had amazing luck with Costa Farms (they guarantee their plants and have great customer service). Go on, get the fiddle fig, you know you want it.

Oddities: You know how sometimes you stalk Home Goods to find something like fake lemons? Amazon! No stalking required (although I do love a reason to go to Home Goods).

Linens: All the throws, down blankets, pillows, etc. I’ve never bought anything regarding linen or pillow inserts/covers that I’ve had to return. Great quality/price!

My biggest tip when shopping for home decor (or anything really) is to read the reviews. I don’t shy away if a few people have negative things to say, but if the majority are positive or negative, I take that as a warning. Aaron often jokes with me that “Amazon isn’t free” because I truly purchase so much from the company. It’s just so easy and nice for busy moms, people, etc.! Bring on that two day shipping.

But mostly, bring on the coffee. Almost to Friday friends. Let’s have wine together?
