Hey-ya friends, happy Tuesday. How are you? It’s looking like rain today, woof, but maybe that means I can plop Penelope in front of a movie and get some work/DIY’ing done. Aaron and I have two rooms completely torn apart in our home if you saw on Instagram stories. We’re currently giving P’s bathroom a little makeover and then also putting up a feature wall in the adjoining bedroom to her Jack n’ Jill room. I think quarantine has gotten to us and we’re just looking for anything to keep us entertained. More on those later.
Today, I wanted to chat about one of my faves, Amazon. This is the most random Amazon favorites list ever, but I promise you, every item on this list is worth it and something I use either daily or weekly.
Amazon Favorites for $25 or Less
#1. These shower shelves: Our baths in our house were recently retiled with subway tile when we moved in, but besides the ledges there was no storage. In our shower I was leaning to the floor to pick up our shampoo and thought, “well this sucks.” I am not a fan of the giant pole like things, or hang over the shower heads, so I went on search for something that didn’t require drilling into the tile. You guys, these little shelves actually stick! I put the adhesive on and waited 24 hours and in 7+ months we haven’t had any trouble, they clean up easy, don’t rust or chip and actually hold a lot. I put one in each shower/tub combo and three stacked in our shower and they’ve all done well with daily use.
#2. Volcano Soap: I know to many this is still pricey, but I chatted here about things I believe are worth the money. Smells so good and no filmy residue. Perfect for bath on main floor.
#3. Clothing/Cute tees: I buy a lot of lounge wear off Amazon because it’s affordable and still cute. Plus, I don’t like spending tons of money when no one is going to see me. I recently got this tee and while not fiev star quality, it’s perfect for laying around or playing with P. If you haven’t shopped Amazon fashion, you should check it out.
#4. No slip hangers: We only use no slip in our home (even in P’s room with kid size) and Amazon is definitely the best price point I’ve found for the quantity.
#5. Drawer organizers: I love these and use them along with cubes in all the dressers in our home. You get four in a pack, so basically one pack per dresser at a great price!
#6. Velvet scrunchies: 45 scrunchies for $8. Yes, please!
#7. Kids craft tray: These have been amazing for containing the messes and we also use them as snack trays when P is watching movies, etc.
#8. Rug Grips: Works great on carpet and hardwood floor. But most importantly, they come off when needed. Whew.
#9. Curtain rods: I buy ALL of our rods from Amazon because I’d rather spend more money on the curtains themselves. I’ve found so many great rods for great prices including these smaller sized ones I used in P’s room.
#10. Workout clothing: I’ve found Amazon’s athletic wear to be great and WAY less priced than some brands.
#11. Dish Scrappers: Probably my favorite thing on this list, dish scrapers. I hate dirty sponges, so in our house, these have saved us a ton. We use these before actually “washing” the dishes and then use a sponge. So much less gross and one lasts forever. I actually put them in the dishwasher when we run them and they come out looking brand new!
#12. Fiddle Fig (Live Plant): I have actually purchased a few live plants from Amazon and 90% of the time they are great, and if not, I’ve received a replacement. I love greenery in our home, so we have plants in almost every room.
#13. Blue Light Glasses: I think blue light glasses really do help with eye strain and this set is adorable (they look like my actual prescription glasses!).
There you have it, some great finds for a great price! Happy shopping friends, but I recommend shopping with a giant cup of coffee!
