Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks

Okay, I know I’m late, but since the public sale doesn’t go live until next week, I’d like to think I’m early when it comes to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. 🙂 I’ll admit, I don’t love how Nordstrom staggered the sale this year because SO much is already sold out, but I promise you I’m going to be on the lookout for restocks for y’all. Additionally, I’m hoping Nordstrom is holding on to some inventory for the public access shopping period, so fingers crossed everything is available come August 19th when the public sale begins.

I shared a lot of my picks on Instagram stories, and I’m going to reiterate what I said on there; I think the sale is a great time to stock up on items that are A. staples and B. splurge items on sale. All the trendy stuff can be purchased at affordable pricing later, so use this time to get goodies you wouldn’t typically buy because of pricing, or use this time to get some great staple items for your capsule wardrobe. I also use this time to buy some Christmas gifts.

Baby and Toddler:

For baby and toddler, I love stocking up on items like shoes and warm items like snow suits and jackets. It’s also a great time to grab some bigger baby items if you’re in need like strollers and car seats. We have this convertible seat for Penelope and we absolutely love it.

For Beauty and Home:

I mentioned on stories how last year I grabbed these candles and split them up to pair with a match booklet. They made great hostess gifts for the holidays (they come in individual boxes). This area is also amazing for holiday gifts if you have people in mind. I love picking up the beauty sets (because they are great prices like this!). I’ve heard absolutely amazing things about this serum, so it may be my big splurge from the sale (with some cashmere!). And, who doesn’t need a VERY cozy throw blanket?

For Him:

Aaron does not shop the sale, I shop for him. He doesn’t shop at all unless it ladders, tools or medical books, lol. I use this time to get t-shirts and underwear and typically also get him some athletic wear. I also typically pick up a pair of sneakers for him and some odds and ends (only because he gets clothes during this sale and Christmas, that’s seriously it unless I pick stuff up during other times). And, since men are hard to shop for, I also grab some Christmas/Hanukkah gifts like grooming products, cologne, or a nice pair of shoes.

For Her:

As mentioned earlier, I typically use this time to pick up shoes, bigger ticket items like cashmere, jackets, etc. I also have heard amazing things about this brand and LOVE these sports bras (they are the best). You can also score some amazing bags on sale. Many of you have asked me about the studs I wear on stories and these resemble them but are WAY more affordable than my option.
