Another week sweet friends. Who is ready for Halloween? Are you trick-or-treating? I know it’s a crazy year, but we’re planning on taking Penelope around to a few houses before we pass out candy at our house for a bit (social distance style!). We’ll be wearing masks and sanitizing like fiends, I just can’t imagine not hearing her sweet little voice ask “Trick-or-Treat” this year since now she’s able. Until then, I thought it would be fun today to share our Halloween front porch decor!
Halloween Front Porch
We’ve had our Grandin Road Halloween front porch decked out for a few weeks now and I have to admit, that even though I don’t typically decorate for Halloween, I’ve really loved it this year. Penelope is so into it, so I decided to give it a go this year and I absolutely love the items we picked from Grandin Road. After this weekend, I’ll switch the decor to “just fall” (aka no skeletons), but for the next few days we’re still enjoying the “spooky.” We’ve had so many compliments on our gold skeleton and our light up ghosts (and P loves helping me turn them on each night). I’m planning to play spooky music Thursday night when the trick-or-treaters come!
I know Mr. Skeleton, as Penelope calls him, the ghosts, pumpkin topiaries, the BOO mat and lanterns from Grandin Road will be on rotation for years to come, y’all know I just love anything from there.
You can see some other rooms I’ve decorated with their help here, here and here. And, I’m teaming up with them again for our Christmas front stoop which I know will be my favorite yet!
And with that, I’m off to put the finishing touches on Poppy’s Halloween costume, but first coffee of course!
