Happy Election Day friends. NO matter who you’re voting for today, make sure you get out there and exercise your rights! Penelope also wanted to remind you! That’s my PSA for today, now onto the fun stuff like our fall home tour.
Admit it, have you taken yours down and started decorating for the Holidays? Typically I am a STRICT after Thanksgiving person, but my 2019 and 2020 have been such terrible years, that I decided to spread the holiday joy early. I just started breaking down my fall decor last night and I’m not sad about it. However, before I put it ALL away, and since technically the holidays don’t start for another 23 days, I wanted to share our fall home tour before it becomes the holiday home tour.
I don’t typically decorate a ton for fall or Halloween (you can see our Halloween stoop here), but this year with Penelope I just felt like it was something I should do. My mom always decorated for all the holidays and it made the house feel that much more magical. So, I want her to have the same experience. Plus, it’s nice to switch decor up just for a little while.
Fall Home Tour
You can see I kept it pretty simple with lots of fall foliage, pumpkins and fall candles (MY FAV). We did have some more “Halloweenish” decor in the playroom, but it wasn’t anything too exciting, so I didn’t photograph the space, plus, it’s always a mess! I’ll be sharing a tour of that space soon (after a few more touches and our rug arrives- here is a sneak peek until then!).
I don’t typically decorate bedrooms for holidays, but I’m thinking for Christmas this year I might. Do you put holiday decor in the bedrooms? I’d love to know!
Have a great day friends. It’s a big one that outlines our next four years. All the coffee needed this AM.
What part of this fall home tour did you like the most? Let me know in a comment below!
