Good morning friends. I am in utter belief that this week is Thanksgiving. What are your plans? Aaron is on nights, so we’re actually ordering our dinner from a local place we love and keeping it just us. What better year than 2020 to keep it low key, right? I’m making a few things that our dinner will be missing, so we’ll get a few prepared items as well as some homemade ones. Best of both worlds and barely any clean up.
Anyway, Thanksgiving starts the kick off of the holiday season and whether it’s a small socially distant gathering (like we all should be having), or a big one (maybe next year?), I never like to go somewhere when people are putting time and money into hosting without bringing a small little something to show my appreciation. So, today, I wanted to share some hostess gift ideas that are easy and affordable (under $25).
Hostess Gift Ideas
Mask + Chapstick Combo: What better gift to reflect 2020?
Hot cocoa on a stick: Who doesn’t love this when the weather turns?
Wine Stopper + Bottle of Wine: Maybe a little cliché, but if your hostess loves wine, then wine (ha) not.
Candles + a match book: This is one of my favorite go-tos and buying sets allows you to split them up and make the gifts even more affordable.
Garden Jar: So fun come spring to add some greenery to your space.
Reusable Straws: For the environmentally conscious hostess.
Nice Candy: We all love candy, right?
Simple Syrup or other pantry novelties: Just like candy, fun little edible novelties for the kitchen are always unique and appreciated.
Coffee: Nothing better than a delicious cup of coffee after a late night of hosting.
5-piece cheese knives set: Cheese knives and hosting go hand in hand.
Kitchen Towels: Practical and always needed in my opinion.
Rosemary Plant: I love the smell of rosemary and just like a small plant, this is the fit that keeps giving.
Another idea I love is taking fresh baked goods for the morning after so your hostess doesn’t have to cook the next day. Yum, now I wish I had some baked goods.
I’ll be sharing gift guides over the next two weeks to help you kick off your holiday shopping, if there is anything you want to see specifically, shoot me an email and I’ll incorporate it! You can see other hostess gift guides I’ve done previous years here, here or here.
Baked goods and you guessed it, coffee.
