Hi friends, a week later here I am again. WHEW, it’s been a crazy last few days. If you’ve been following on Instagram stories, you know that we’ve been busy, busy. It was Penelope’s birthday Monday and she turned 3, I honestly can’t even believe it. I’ll share more on that in a few days, but before the holiday passes us by, I wanted to share the rest of our holiday home tour. Today, is the formal living room, playroom, dinning room and breakfast area. Today’s Christmas home tour and the tour from last week’s living room, kitchen, entry ways (mudroom and foyer) pretty much sum up the ground floor of the house minus pantry, a hallway, 1/2 bathroom and Aaron’s office. There is decor in these areas, but nothing too crazy.
When you first walk into our home, you’re greeted by our beautiful stairwell. We don’t use it a ton as there is a carpeted one in the breakfast room, but I love it nonetheless. You can see it’s transformation here, and I just adore it with the Grandin Road garland. To the front is our family room, right our playroom and formal living room and then to the left the dinning room.
Christmas Home Tour
Tomorrow I will have our upstairs tour posted. I’m a little bummed I didn’t decorate the basement, but there is always next year, right?! HAHA I’ll be lucky if next year I get one tree up let alone five since there will be two little monsters running around…ahhh! haha
I hope your holiday week has been lovely so far sweet friends. I honestly can’t even believe it’s almost Christmas. I’ve been prepping for a month and yet, somehow I don’t feel like it’s here yet. It’s been such a strange year, maybe that’s why.
And for today, cleaning, a few small DIY projects and some work before I sign off for the year from my emails! Don’t worry, you can still find me on Instagram.
But first, coffee obviously.
