I get that some people aren’t pet people, and if that’s the case, then I’m sorry for this post. However, we love our little rescue girls like family (after human people obviously) and they most certainly have holiday stockings on our mantle. I feel like our girls get love and gifts throughout the year (you know, like those annual shots! ha), but I do buy them a few little things for the holidays. Typically, it’s stuff they need like a new collar, or new bed, but I also try to get them some fancy treats or a new high tech toy, etc. they might love. If you’re like us and spoil your little fur children, here are some great gifts we’ve given the girls in the past or plan to give them this year.
Dog Bed: If it’s going to be in our main living room, then I want to not hate how it looks. I love these striped options from PB. And, they look super comfy.
Silver Honey: We’ve been purchasing Silver Honey for awhile now since I saw the reviews on Amazon. It works for almost all animals, moisturizes, is good for large or small areas and is 99.9% effective at treating harmful bacteria. During the winter months our girls always get salt wounds from the snow/ice/ice remover, so we make sure to have this on hand for easy relief.
Dog Treat Mold: I love the idea of making our own treats because it’s something the whole family can do together. I know Penelope would love helping and feeding these to the girls, so I can’t decide whose stocking they work better for! haha
Furbo Dog Cam: I want one of these when life goes back to normal and I’m not home as often. If your fur pups are alone a lot during the day, I’ve heard amazing things about these.
Dog Boots: I mentioned above how our girls get wounds this time of year thanks to the elements and while Silver Honey is a lifesaver, some little booties to help out might not be a bad idea for our bigger girl, Georgia. Bella will just have to rely on Silver Honey since I don’t know if they make them that small, I’ll have to look!
Dog Bowls: We have these bowls in our bedroom and playroom so we can have water throughout the house for the girls. While their main food bowls are in the mudroom, we like to have some more eye pleasing options of water in other rooms so they can stay near us if they’d like.
New Collars or leashes: Again, y’all know I’m a sucker for MC, so I am a sucker for getting the girls a new collar each this time of year.
Kiehls Dog Shampoo/Conditioner: Just like we love the effectiveness of Silver Honey, we love Kiehls in between grooming appointments. Smells great and we love the ingredient list.
Toys: How funny are these dog toys?! Bella isn’t the bigger toy player, but Georgia loves them so we stuff some of these into their stocking stuffer!
Travel Dog Waterbowl: SUCH a great thing to have on hand for holiday travel with your pups or in spring/summer for long walks or hikes.
Dog Treat Bowl: I find if the treats are out, I’m more likely to remember to give them to the girls, so I want the treat container to be something I love. P also loves giving the girls treat, so it’s a fun little activity for her and I feel like it helps her with responsibility.
What else am I forgetting? We also always get the girls a holiday “cut” because I like them to look super fresh for the New Year! haha
Don’t forget, you can view all of my gift guides by heading to the menu bar “Holiday Gift Guides” and selecting what category you’re shopping for. Super easy, if you have any questions or are looking for anything in particular, let me know!
And now, more shopping, wrapping and of course, coffee!
