Anyone else have big goals for the new year? I feel like after 2019 and 2020, I need a complete reset and since I’m about to have a baby in the next few days, I really feel like now’s the time both physically and mentally. So, when I was planning out my goals for 2021, I sat down the other morning with my Light + Fit ® Key Lime Greek Nonfat Yogurt and jotted a few notes down about my six biggest goals for 2021 and thought I would share them here to hold myself accountable. I don’t want to think of these as resolutions, because who keeps those? More like things I can do every day to make sure I’m living my life to the best of my ability.

- First and foremost, I need to get my eating in check. When the pandemic hit, it was so easy to blame my poor eating on all the takeout and bad food and then I got pregnant and started blaming the pregnancy. Thank goodness Light + Fit ® Key Lime Greek Nonfat Yogurt is delicious because it’s the only thing to get my morning started in addition to my daily dose of fruit and coffee of course. I’m TERRIBLE about eating something healthy (if at all anything) in the mornings, but I’ve been buying these Key Lime Light + Fit yogurts weekly at the grocery store and putting them front and center in my fridge so I remember to grab one when I’m reaching for the milk for my coffee. Since I typically eat standing up, or while answering emails, it’s an excellent choice since there’s 12g of protein per 5.3oz serving.
- Get back into a consistent workout routine. I know that abs are made in the kitchen, but I REALLY slacked this pregnancy with working out. If I’m going to get back to it, I need to start eating foods that make me feel good and working out, that Peloton bike we bought won’t use itself! I can always provide my body with nutrients from a Light + Fit ® Key Lime Greek Nonfat Yogurt (seriously, I love REAL key lime pie and the Light + Fit is <almost> as good).
- Whittle time spent to those that deserve it. I really want to make sure my time, love and effort in relationships is given to those giving it back to me in 2021. Sometimes I fall into a trap of trying to please everyone when they could care less about me. I really need to focus on me, my happiness and nutrition (thank you you again, Light and Fit!)
- Focus on my business. Somedays I get so wrapped up in laundry and life that I forget to actually work, which means I then fall behind and get stressed. I’d love to keep more of a routine when it comes to CB&BP and really see where it can go in 2021. I also recently started doing more photography for family and friends and I’d love to see where that can go!
- Protected time for family and friends. Just like I want to see where my business can go, I also want to make sure I’m setting it aside when needed. I am SO guilty about staying on my phone or answering emails during dinner and I need to do better at unplugging when it’s time. Even if it just means unplugging during my morning Light + Fit ® with Aaron.
- Be more creative. This ties into everything above actually. For example, if I want to jazz up Light + Fit ® Key Lime Greek Nonfat Yogurt and other flavors, I try making smoothie bowls or smoothies with it. If I get tired of a workout, I mix it up. Explore different topics on the blog, think outside of the décor box, the list could go on and on!
It’s a big ambitious list, but after the last two years, I’m ready for the challenge. And ready to feel like myself again (pre-2019 of course!). I’d love to know what goals you’re trying to meet in 2021 no matter how big or small!
Now, for a Light + Fit® Greek Yogurt, some emails and of course my morning coffee. I love that I never feel guilty indulging in foods that taste great, with nutrition I feel good about. Make 2021 great my friends.
