I know there is a lot of talk around this time of year about toys and “things” and how as parents our kiddos don’t need much and I don’t disagree. I love giving my kiddos experiences and introducing them to new and exciting things, but I also love seeing my kiddos light up over new toys that they’ve been coveting and wishing for. I think toys can really spark creativity and that’s why when Babbleboxx asked me to share some of the new Moose Toys, I absolutely said yes because I know their brand well and also know Penelope is a huge fan. Here are a few of the new toys we got to experience (she loved them all and told me she couldn’t even rank them if she tried. She loved them “all the same.”)
Little Live Pets. Guys, this is stinking cute. You have momma bunny and she “births” surprise babies after you set her cage up. I think we have reset this up at least 5x since opening it next week and each time the babies come out, P acts like it’s the first time. Spoiler, our bunny have FOUR babies!
Little Live Pets Zoogooz. I know Shepard isn’t pictured in this post, but I’d say the the Hug and Hang Zoogooz really belongs to him at this point. He carries it around and thinks the sounds it makes are hilarious. He also loves the stretch (it reminds me of stretch Armstrong from our childhood, anyone else?).
Magic Mixies Potion Cauldron Game. I knew last year the Magic Mixers were a BIG hit, so I was excited to see a game version. P LOVES to play games and honestly, as a mom, I think it’s so fun to be able to play them finally with her. Go fish anyone? The first time we played this I literally jumped from the leaping little animal and fun was definitely had! We also loved playing with the Magic Mixies with Pixlings!
Magic Mixies Pixlings Dolls. What is it about ingredients and water that kids just love? We mixed the potion, said the magic words and honestly, as a mom, I found it to be quite entertaining. There are 3 enchanting Pixlings for you to collect, we ended up with the deer Pixling, but you can imagine P has already added two more to her holiday wish list list to try and complete the set.
Real Littles Desktop Caddy Mini Fridge. Last but not least the item with the most accessories, so by nature the one that got a squeal out of Penelope. She LOVES accessories. She doesn’t so much play with dolls as much as she loves to accessorize them and decorate their houses. I can’t blame her as an interior designer.
Overall, Penelope and I had a genuine blast opening these new Moose Toys up, exploring them and in general spending time together. That’s why I think toys are still amazing for kiddos, you get to spend time together creating fun, magic and make believe for a little and forget that you’re an adult as well. These toys can be found at major retailers and would make great gifts for the little ones in your life!
