Current Beauty Favorites

Lately, I’ve really
been experimenting with new beauty products. I found I was using the
same over and over again, but I didn’t LOVE any of them. Some of my
purchases have been stellar, so I thought I’d share what Im currently
using/loving/still deciding on with y’all today.

1. The POREfessional
by Benefit: A+ This product is supposed to minimize the appearance of
pores and it really does. I picked up the $10.00 sample size, but once
it’s gone, I definitely will be buying the bigger tube. I should say, it
does not minimize pores, just minimizes the appearance of them.
However, it is super light, and doesn’t feel heavy. I know the sample
tube will last a long time- you only need a drop!

2. Smashbox BB Cream I
am pleased with this. Lightweight, covers well. I typically don’t wear
foundation- I don’t like feeling bogged down by makeup- so I love BB
Creams. Just enough coverage, and yet, they are light. This brand is
much better than what I’ve tried from drugstores, however, I loved this brand that I got in a recent Birchbox. I think after this tube is empty, Ill be switching.

3. Smashbox Contour
I just recently started playing with contouring. I don’t do it before
work, typically only on the weekends. I find this kit great for
beginners and it comes with a brush. I woudl highly recommend it if
you’re interested in it.


4. Better than Sex Mascara I talked about this TOO FACED product here and I love it. It lengthens, separates and doesn’t clump. Overall, it’s a total win and worth the money- I promise you!


5. Benefit Push Up Eye Liner 
I am still on the fence about this one. I love the line it makes and it
lasts. It’s smooth, dark and perfect, but honestly, I just haven’t
mastered the wand yet. Practice makes perfect though and I think after
awhile, this will be a product I really love. If you’re craving the cat
eye look, this is definitely a great product. It helps you make perfect
cat eyes without the mess- practice makes prefect!

6.  MAC 159 brush
Dual fiber, perfect for bronzer and the highlighter Im talking about
next. I use one side for bronzer and the other for highlighter. So soft
and great function!

7. MAC Strobe Cream
Love this cream– not only does it highlight but it hydrates. It’s
perfect for that dewy look. I use a little on my temples and cheekbones
and it creates such a lovely soft glow!

    I have been so horrible with my makeup routine lately. I just find it so uninspiring. What I really need to do is going to someone professional and get them to help me come up with what products I should be using.
